Onehunga Mangere United AFC will be running their mixed 7 aside summer football social competition on Mangere Domain on a Wednesday evening.
This comprises of 30 minute games played from 6.00pm to 8.00pm on a Wednesday evening on 3 pitches marked out on the Mangere Domain fields, limited to 24 teams.
A grading round is played from October 30 to December 11th (there will be a save date of 18 December to play a catch up round if required) followed by a competition round commencing on 22nd January where the winners of each group will be determined (there will be a save date of 11th March to play a catch up round if required).
Early registration is recommended.
Entry Form and more information can be found under the Tournaments heading.
After the first 2 terms with the Ricki Herbert Football Academy & from all accounts successful, we're teaming up with them again in term 3.
If these dates suit please click on the RHFA link (the left hand column of home page) outlining the dates, cost & age group sessions and registration.
The general feedback received from the first 2 courses were that they are professionally run, with good quality coaches & well worth the money.
If this sounds good to you & your children, please go onto the RHFA site to register.
This course is open to anyone - not just Onehunga Mangere members, so spread the word & if anyone knows or hears of anyone interested, get them to register & bring them along.
The club do get a financial benefit from club entries, so the more club members that do register, the more goes back into the junior club.
Also, as far as the age groups go, the RHFA will note the registration numbers as they come in & if they are getting, for example, more younger kids for the 1st session, that they do for the older or a higher male/female ratio, they will split the sessions & coaches to suit requirements while still keeping sessions enjoyable for everyone. This will be looked at & sorted out as the program gets up & running, to find the best fit for all.
If you have any questions about the program, please contact me.
Thanks & regards,
