OMUAFC Summer Soccer 2018-19

The club would like to thank all 24 teams that entered and endured the Summer Football competition this past season. Without your enthusiasm this competition would not be possible.

From the grading rounds through to the competition rounds the games were played in a sportsmanlike spirit and I commend all who participated in making the competition a success yet again.

A special thanks to the 3 referees (Malcolm, Richard & Leon) who turned out every week to officiate. Without these gents we would not be able to stage the competition. Credit to you gents.

We again were lucky with the weather this season with no rounds postponed.

Great to see most teams represented at prizegiving on Sunday and like each year every team gets something for their efforts.

Thanks to the women’s First Team “The Scarlets” for running the kitchen and serving up scrumptious food and it was great to see Joan Corbett raise funds for cancer by taking the huge step to cut her hair short.

Here's hoping that all the teams return next summer to enjoy another great summer competition.

Congrats to the following Division Champs;

Div 1 – Real Housewives of Manukau City

Div 2 – Balgownie Thistle

Div 3 – Bridge Cartel
